On arrival to the newly built ‘Haven,' my overwhelming sense was one of tranquillity. During the Covid19 pandemic lockdown, we have all been forced to navigate our perception of time more profoundly. After many visits to the 'Haven', it became clear to me that time, past and present, has become one of the key element in my photographic approach. As a medium, it has a wonderful ability to convey the passing of time and to record a sense of place.
